Summertime is winding down, which means the end of swimsuit season for most people. Not these stars.
Celebrities such as Halle Berry, Gabrielle Union, Tracee Ellis Ross and Salma Hayek have come to be known for their internet-breaking bikini shots nearly as much as their acting chops. In fact, during Ross’ recent visit to Trevor Noah’s What Now podcast, the comedian revealed that he almost can’t keep up with the volume of swimsuit pictures she posts, thanks to the texts he gets from people letting him know she’s shared another.
“The amount of thirst messages I get on your behalf ...” he began, as Ross burst into laughter. “I know when you have posted a bikini picture. I know, but I’m not even on Instagram in that way. I will just get texts, varying degrees of ‘Tracee, oohh,’ [or] ‘Tracee, damn!’”T
In 2023, the Black-ish actress told Drew Barrymore her philosophy when it comes to thirst traps. “My feeling is, especially having turned 50, I’m like document it,” she said. “A friend of mine said to me, ‘Your body now, in 10 years, you’re gonna wish you had it.’”

In June, she told Katie Couric she felt better than ever. “I think what surprised me most is that I could feel this healthy, this strong, and this ready to take on new challenges.”
She continued, “When I look back at my mother and grandmother at 40, they seemed old to me. But I’m turning 60 this year, and I don’t feel old at all. If you just look at the number, you might think, OK, you’re getting up there, but that’s not how I feel. In some ways, I actually feel healthier than I did 20 years ago. I’ve educated myself about my body. I exercise differently. I eat differently. I’m focused on longevity.”
“I never expected to feel better at 60 than I did at 40, but in many ways, I do,” she concluded.
