The November 4 episode of "AEW Dynamite" saw the return of the All Elite Wrestling's most violent match as fans in Jacksonville, Florida saw not one, but two Blood and Guts matches. It was a big night in the television ratings department as "Dynamite" went head-to-head with "WWE NXT" which featured the likes of CM Punk, John Cena, and Cody Rhodes, but it was a night to remember for AEW as "Dynamite" emerged victorious.

According to Wrestlenomics, with data provided by PWTorch, the Blood and Guts edition of "Dynamite" averaged a total of 792,000 viewers, while "NXT" averaged a total of 552,000 viewers. This week's figure is a 28% rise on the 620,000 viewers the Fright Night special averaged a week earlier, while also being 19% above the trailing four week average of 665,000 viewers, and like every AEW show, none of these figures include those who streamed the show live on HBO MAX.

There was even more good news in the 18-49 demographic as "Dynamite" posted a 0.24 number, which beat "NXT" as that show posted a 0.17 number. 0.24 is an increase of 71% on the 0.14 number posted a week earlier, which is also the current trailing four week average, and is the highest number posted in the 18-49 demo since the 2024 Blood and Guts edition of "Dynamite."

In the 25-54 demographic, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported that the show posted a 0.27 number, while "NXT" posted a 0.16, making it the second highest number in that demographic of 2026 behind the Pac tribute show on "September 30." Meltzer also noted that "Dynamite" finished second in its timeslot on cable behind the NBA games that took place that night, meaning that it beat both CNN and FOX News just 24 hours after the midterm elections took place.
