James Bond first hit the big screen in 1962 with *Dr. No*. Based on Ian Fleming's novel of the same name, the film starred Sean Connery in the first of his five mainline outings as the British superspy. Producers Albert "Cubby" Broccoli and Harry Saltzman shepherded the franchise via their production company Eon Productions.

Broccoli's daughter, Barbara Broccoli, and stepson, Michael G. Wilson, took over as primary producers with 1995's *GoldenEye* after working on several prior 007 movies in various capacities.

"My life has been dedicated to maintaining and building upon the extraordinary legacy that was handed to Michael and me by our father, producer Cubby Broccoli," Barbara Broccoli said at the time. "I have had the honor of working closely with four of the tremendously talented actors who have played 007 and thousands of wonderful artists within the industry. With the conclusion of *No Time to Die* and Michael retiring from the films, I feel it is time to focus on my other projects."
