"What a week - and what a milestone," Turlington wrote. "As a mother and as a parent, this moment feels profound. So many hopes and dreams for my firstborn are unfolding far sooner than I ever imagined."
"There's a saying: educate a girl and you educate a nation," she continued. "That's a powerful responsibility - but if anyone is ready to carry it, it's my daughter, alongside her friends and classmates who are already becoming the change they want to see in the world."
Turlington ended her post with a message to Grace's fellow grads. "Congratulations to all the graduates, and especially to mine. 💜," she wrote.

In addition to Grace, Turlington and Burns also share son, Finn, 20.
When he and Turlington became empty nesters, Burns told PEOPLE that they were trying to keep themselves busy to cope with their kids being away from home.
"[The goal is to raise] independent kids who are ready to take on the world. Fortunately, our kids are, but you definitely ... the house is quieter," said Burns in September 2024.
During an April appearance on Maury Povich's podcast, On Par With Maury Povich, Burns saidthat he and Turlington aimed to raise their children as normally as possible.

"We made a choice, and I think part of the reason we're still very happily married and our kids are in a great place was we never took them to a movie premiere, we never took them to any entertainment event, ever," said Burns.
