- Brandon Armstrong learned a lot about his *DWTS* partner, Ciara Miller, on Wednesday’s press line — including her love of sleep.

- “If you’re going to do it, do it horizontal,” Miller tells EW of her life motto.

- Armstrong made a surprised face as she clarifies, “In a non-sexual way.”

It’s safe to say Brandon Armstrong has never watched *Summer House*.

While chatting with press after the *Dancing With the Stars* season 35 cast reveal on Wednesday, his celebrity partner, Ciara Miller, confessed that she doesn’t know how she is “still standing” as she films both *DWTS* and season 11 of the Bravo hit.

“We’ve been trying to squeeze [practice in]. I’m, obviously, still shooting *Summer House.* I’ve been balancing the two for a second,” she tells EW. “So I’m going to hone in on this dancing thing and put *Summer House* to the side for a second and really focus on the dancing. But how [am I] still standing? Not quite sure. We’re working through it.”

*Summer House* viewers know Miller is actually known for loving to spend time in bed — a fact Armstrong was informed of on Wednesday.

“I actually didn’t really gather this until this [press] line. It’s been mentioned a few times that she has an intense relationship with her bed — Is that a fair statement?” Armstrong asks Miller.

“Accurate,” Miller replies. “If you’re going to do it, do it horizontal.” She then quickly adds, “In a non-sexual way.”

Armstrong shook his head and was surprised by Miller’s remarks. “I didn’t say anything!” he says.

“No, I’m just saying work smarter, not harder,” she clarifies.

And Miller says she does plan to work hard — and is ready to accept any feedback.

“I actually love the judges so far. They’ve been so nice, so sweet, giving us all the best advice. And I’m like, ‘Now, I mean, okay, if you want to give me a bad score, sure, but we’re still friends, right?’ I feel like I just feel the love from them. It kind of sheds that layer of intimidation,” Miller says. “Also, I like constructive criticism. If I did bad, tell me I did bad. And honestly, I might tell myself. If I know my foot was looking crazy and I looked down at one point and I was like, ‘That’s nuts,’ I’m probably going to say it, like, ‘Did you guys see my f---ing foot that one time?’”

Armstrong adds that it’s less about trying to impress Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough for him.

“To me, it’s about creating something that we’re proud of from week to week to week,” Armstrong tells EW. “If you can create great moments and you start stacking those great moments, then all of a sudden you’re at the end, you’re doing a freestyle and the cards fall where they fall. I think Derek is, obviously, somebody that we look up to because he’s been in the position and done it and he’s done it to the highest extent. So we appreciate the feedback, but I wouldn’t say nervous.”

The *Dancing With the Stars* two-night premiere airs Tuesday, Sept. 15, and Wednesday, Sept. 16, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC and Disney+.
