March 21 (Reuters) - Cuba's national electric grid ‌collapsed on ‌Saturday, the country's grid ​operator said, leaving around 10 million people without power ‌amid a ⁠U.S.-imposed oil blockade that has ⁠crippled the island's already obsolete generation ​system.

The ​power ​failure was ‌the second nationwide since the beginning of the blockade, with the previous one ‌occurring last ​Monday. Grid ​operator ​UNE announced ‌the outage on ​social ​media and said it would continue ​giving ‌updates.
