Disney star Carla Jeffery's twin brother, Carlon Jeffery, has unveiled the last text message he sent to his famous actress sister in a sweet tribute dedicated to her on Instagram.
Carla, who gained notoriety for her role in the 2018 Disney Channel movie Zombies and its two sequels, died at age 33 on Tuesday, September 1. Although the circumstances around her death haven't been publicly disclosed, her family has immediately denied rumors that her death was anything drug-related, according to TMZ.
Carlon unveiled that his final message to his sister Carla, seemingly sent before she passed away, was one of love and encouragement that expressed his constant support of her.

"I was just calling to see how your day went! I love you to the moon & back sis," he shared. The message further read, "I just want you to know how proud I am of you. Your resilience, your grace, your infectious smile that lights up a room. You are truly a light that shines bright."

Carlon's message also championed for Carla to keep strong even when it was hard, as he wrote, "Don't let anyone.. dim that light.. even yourself. The light you carry is special and must be protected at all times."
He finished with, "You are the best sister a brother could ask for. I pray we continue to grow closer to one another along this journey. I got your back in this life and the next."

Along with the shared message, Carla's brother included a GIF of her sitting on a beach, gently smiling at the camera as a stormy sea swooshed behind her.
Soundtracking the social media post was Brandy's hit 1994 song Best Friend with the included lyrics, "Whenever I'm down / I call on you, my friend / A helping hand you lend in my time of need, so I / I’m calling you now, just to make it through…."
Carla's death broke the heart of her many fans and co-stars, who loved her for her energetic portrayal of Bree in the Disney Channel Zombies franchise. Due to her sudden death, many of her supporters speculated whether it had anything to do with drugs. However, her family informed TMZ that Carley "did not do drugs."

The Alexanders Talent Management Family, who represented the entertainer for over 20 years, announced Carla's death. Her family launched a GoFundMe on Wednesday, September 2, to cover Carla's funeral expenses and burial costs.
Her family penned on the site... "This is an incredibly painful and difficult time for our family, and we are doing our best to come together, grieve, and make sure Carla has the support needed to handle the funeral and burial arrangements."
