President Donald Trump was caught repeating a concerning behavior as he disembarked Air Force One on Monday, tapping his leg with his hand repeatedly.
It's not the first time the president, 80, has done so — a month ago, he was spotted in a video patting the side of his leg as he walked.
The strange behavior sparked fresh health concerns online, with influencer Molly Ploofkins writing on X, "Why is he always slapping his side now?" She posted a video of him tapping his hip while crossing the tarmac at an airport.
The latest video, posted by the official Rapid Response 47 Twitter page, shows him walking slowly down the steps of Air Force One, tapping his hip in a similar way. He'll walk down a few steps, double-tap the side of his leg, then continue walking a few steps before doing the same.

One X user commented an AI-generated photo of him going down the steps in a wheelchair, seemingly a nod to all the health issues he's been dealing with.

Back in mid-August, an X user called the leg-tapping a "physical therapy technique" and shared a search result that said therapists might instruct patients to tap their leg to disrupt muscle tension patterns "caused by neurological issues like a stroke, brain injury, or Parkinson's disease."
There has been no official confirmation — only speculation — that Trump has dementia or is suffering from other neurological problems as a result of a stroke, brain injury or Parkinson's disease, which would explain the tapping.

Around the same time, the president was spotted sporting a prominent bruise on his forearm at the LIV Golf New York tournament, which was held at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster in New Jersey.
Photos from the event revealed multiple bruises and scrapes on Trump's forearms, as well as bandages covering two of the fingers on his right hand.
Then-press secretary Karoline Leavitt, who resigned from her post and left the position at the end of August, offered an explanation for the injuries.
"President Trump is a man of the people, and he meets more Americans and shakes their hands on a daily basis than any other president in history," she said.
Trump himself attributed the marks on his left hand to his daily aspirin regimen as well as his previous diagnosis of chronic venous insufficiency. Trump takes aspirin to thin his blood.
