Elisabeth Moss might be done with *The Handmaid's Tale*, but *The Handmaid's Tale* universe might not be done with her.
The two-time Emmy-winning actress and producer of the beloved Hulu series adapted from Margaret Atwood's dystopian novel addressed speculation that she'll return for the upcoming sequel series *The Testaments*.
Speaking to *The View* cohosts Thursday about her new Apple TV show *Imperfect Women*, Moss teased whether or not her character June Osborne would appear in the new project.
After cohost Sunny Hostin brought up the fact that Moss will executive-produce *The Testaments, *she noted that *Handmaid's* alum Ann Dowd would reprise the role of Aunt Lydia, before asking, "Will June Osborne be making an appearance, do we think?"**

Moss smiled as she replied, "I couldn't tell you if I was! It's been really cool. [Producing] means I didn't have to say goodbye to the world, which I was very happy about."
Moss praised series star Chase Infiniti, particularly after the young actress rose to fame following her standout performance in newly minted Best Picture winner *One Battle After Another*.
"Obviously, getting to be part of anything Chase is part of is so exciting and such an honor. It's cool," Moss said, adding that the new show is "for people who love the show and love *Handmaid's*, but it's also for people who've never seen *Handmaid's*. No offense taken, it's just a little bit different."

She noted that Infiniti "plays Hannah, my daughter," in a story that's "a little bit of a new look" at the character's maturation, after *The Handmaid's Tale* largely focused on June's journey to reunite with her daughter.
On the original show, Hannah became stranded after a conservative faction of rebels established the nation of Gilead, upon overthrowing the United States government and instituting a reign of tyrannical oppression. June became enslaved by the ruling class as one of the titular Handmaids, who were forced against their will to birth children of their owners amid the fictional society's infertility issues.

Showrunner Bruce Miller previously told ** how *The Testaments** *would train on a society of young women who were raised in Gilead.
"It's really interesting and fascinating and so exciting to be looking at the younger women in Gilead, and that energy, and those people who are being told they have all of this power, only to have that power taken away," he said. "You're on the top of the heap *except* you are submissive to your husband."
He continued, "It's about *Mean Girls* growing up Gilead. I mean, it really is about what it's like to be young and full of energy when the country is trying to turn you into something awful, when all of a sudden they've been telling you, 'You are wonderful, you're perfect, and now do these terrible things.'"
*The Testaments *premieres on April 8 on Hulu.
