Perfect Match season 4 star Jimmy Presnell has lost more than 30 lbs. since late 2024

The North Carolina native also underwent a hair transplant

The reality star stays in shape by running, lifting weights and maintaining a healthy diet

Jimmy Presnell turned online criticism into motivation.

After appearing on season 6 of Love Is Blind, the reality star faced harsh comments about his appearance, which ultimately pushed him to make a change. In late 2024, Presnell got a hair transplant and began taking his fitness and diet more seriously.

"Coming off Love Is Blind, the comments weren't where I would have wanted them to be," he told TMZ in November 2025. "I got a lot of shots for my hairline, and so it honestly gave me the courage to do something about it."

Now, Presnell has returned to reality TV on Perfect Match season 4, which premiered May 13 — looking nearly unrecognizable.

"It's done wonders for me and my confidence. I'm super happy about it," he told the outlet of his transformation. "I want to maintain a healthier lifestyle going forward."

The “haters” inspired his physical transformation

Presnell had considered getting a hair transplant long before going on reality TV, but the comments about his appearance after Love Is Blind gave him the motivation to move forward with the procedure.

"I'm not quite sure I would have ever done anything about it without reading the comments [on social media]," he said during an interview with TMZ. "Honestly, thank you to the haters a little bit. With it all being highlighted, it made it easier for me to take that step."

Presnell added that he's since grown mentally stronger and is no longer as affected by hateful comments online.

"I've reached a level of inner peace, where I'm going to do what makes me happy. That's done numbers for my mental health," he said.

He got an $11,000 hair transplant and veneers

In December 2024, Presnell received his hair transplant at Solve Clinics in Chicago, which cost him roughly $11,000.

"They charge roughly $5 a graft. I had a little over 2,000 grafts," Presnell explained in a July 2025 TikTok.

As part of the healing process, he's also undergone PRP — or platelet-rich plasma — treatments, which use a patient's own blood and are injected into the scalp to help stimulate hair growth and support recovery after a hair transplant. Presnell said the treatments cost up to $600 per session.

Presnell has made changes to his smile as well, going to Sculpt Dental Spa in South Carolina for Invisalign and veneers on his front two teeth.

He's lost more than 30 lbs.

Presnell's transformation has also included significant weight loss. When he started his fitness journey, he weighed more than 200 lbs., and he has since lost over 30 lbs.

"I've been going to the gym for years, I just didn't ever watch what I ate. I'm just now learning that the key is your diet," he told TMZ.

Presnell said he dropped the weight by eating in a calorie deficit while filling his meals with more protein, whole foods and nutrient-dense options.

The reality star has documented his fitness journey on social media, often sharing workouts that include weightlifting and running.

In January 2026, Presnell ran a 5K in Miami, followed by a 10K in Hawaii a month later.
