Julia Stiles celebrated her ninth wedding anniversary with Preston Cook, with whom she shares three sons, amid preparations for Dancing with the Stars season 35

The actress shared a sweet tribute to her husband on Instagram, thanking him for keeping things running smoothly at home while she lives her “dance dream” with pro partner Ezra Sosa

Julia Stiles is taking a dance break to celebrate nine years of marriage.

Amid preparations for Dancing with the Stars season 35, the 45-year-old actress shared a sweet tribute to her husband, Preston Cook, on Instagram on Friday, Sept. 4, in honor of their ninth wedding anniversary.

“Taking a breath to wish my main man, my lurve, a Happy Anniversary,” the Save the Last Dance star wrote alongside a black-and-white photo of the couple kissing.

Stiles and Cook tied the knot three years after they met on the set of the thriller Blackway. They have since welcomed three sons together: Strummer, 8, Arlo, 4, and Henry, whom she welcomed in 2023.

The 10 Things I Hate About You star thanked her husband for keeping things running smoothly at home as she begins dance practices with her partner, Ezra Sosa, ahead of the DWTS season premiere later this month.

“Grateful you are not on social media (Somehow you’ll hear about this) Thank you for holding down the fort while I live my dance dream, and being cool with my @ezra.sosa obsession,” Stiles continued in her post. “Love love love ❤️🫶❤️.”

“HES SO CUTIE 🥹,” Sosa, 25, commented.

Earlier this month, Stiles shared how she’s getting support from her family at home as she begins her DWTS journey.

“They see me dance every day and every night in my kitchen and in the living room,” Stiles told E! News of her children on Sept. 2. “They’re like, ‘Oh there goes Mommy again.’ ”

She’s even recruited her little ones as her at-home dancing partners.

“Sometimes I pick them up and I’m actually practicing the dance holding them,” she explained. “And my husband will just stand there and I kind of twirl around him.”

Stiles’ DWTS season 35 competitors are: The Rookie actress Jenna Dewan with pro Val Chmerkovskiy, Grey’s Anatomy star Harry Shum Jr. with pro Jenna Johnson, The Bachelorette alum Tyler Cameron with pro Sharna Burgess, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air alum Tatyana Ali with pro Jan Ravnik, celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis with pro Alan Bersten, musician Taylor Hanson with pro Britt Stewart, comedian and podcaster Connor Wood with pro Rylee Arnold, Summer House star Ciara Miller with pro Brandon Armstrong, Love Island UK and The Traitors star Maura Higgins with pro Mark Ballas, Jimmy Kimmel Live!‘s Guillermo Rodriguez with pro Witney Carson and Savannah Bananas baseball player Jackson Olson with pro Emma Slater.

Two athletes heading to the ballroom are Paralympian gold medalist in track and field Ezra Frech with pro Daniella Karagachand Olympian gold medalist figure skater Amber Glenn with pro Pasha Pashkov.

There are also two relatives of former contestants set to compete:Conner Leavitt, the husband of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’Whitney Leavitt, who competed in season 34, is paired with Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro winner Adele Zaikman, while reality starSarah Jane Nader, the sister of model Brooks Nader who competed in season 33, will be paired with Hailey Bills.

Dancing with the Stars returns with a two-night premiere on Tuesday, Sept. 15, and Wednesday, Sept. 16, on ABC and Disney+. Episodes will stream the following day on Hulu.
