Kim Kardashian and her ex, Kanye West’s daughter, North West, has caught the internet’s attention through her new hairstyle and color. Her TikTok videos come ahead of her tour alongside Molly Santana. Their tour begins on August 5, and they will perform over 14 dates across the US and Canada.
North West debuts new hair on TikTok
North West took to TikTok to showcase her new hair color and style in a series of videos. In those clips, she sported bright blue short hair with front bangs. She wore a long, oversized graphic tee and accessorized it with a choker with faux spikes. North paired the tee with a ruffle skirt and tall boots.
In a specific video, she also lip-synced to “Bang Bang Bang Bang” by Sohodolls. It remains unclear whether this is her real hair or if she is wearing a wig. However, there have been occasions where the 13-year-old has been spotted wearing different shades of blue hair.
A few days back, North stepped out with a similar hair color, styling it into two long ponytails while wearing a black outfit at Paris Fashion Week. Recently, she also appeared in a carousel of summer photos shared by her mother, Kim, which also included the latter’s new boyfriend, Lewis Hamilton. In the image, she donned blue hair braids as she held a sparkler in one hand and did a peace sign with another.

Her bold fashion choices have often garnered mixed reactions from fans, with many sometimes also criticizing Kim. In a conversation on Khloé in Wonderland, Kardashian addressed the backlash over her daughter’s fashion choices while revealing how she gives North the freedom to express herself.
“I’m just not a judgmental person like that, so I try not to pay attention to it. But I think that no one knows unless they’re in my shoes what I’m dealing with and how we have to manage certain things from the outside world or even in our lives that we have to go through together.”
She said that people have the misconception that she allows North to get away with a lot of things. However, she clarified that this isn’t the reality. “Like no, Northie actually has a lot of rules. The one area is I do let her express herself,” she added. Kim also said that she embraces her daughter’s individual sense of style.
