Karoline Leavitt appeared on Lara Trump's Fox News program Saturday night, titled 'My View with Lara Trump'. The former White House Press Secretary discussed her tenure working with Trump and shared her thoughts on potential successors.
In August, President Donald Trump announced that Karoline, 29, had stepped down as White House Press Secretary to dedicate more time to her family, including her two young children. She has since taken on a role at Fox News but remains committed to putting motherhood first.
During her appearance on Lara's show, the host posed several questions, particularly focusing on Karoline's White House experience. Lara inquired: "As Press Secretary, you held a position not many people have held. Now you've had time; what are some of your reflections and maybe greatest memories as Press Secretary?"

Karoline acknowledged that while she loved the job, it was a "grind". She explained: "Yeah, it was a grind; there was no doubt about it. A lot of people remark that that job behind the podium is one of the most difficult jobs in politics, and many days felt true for me.
"But it was an amazing experience; it was so fun. I love the job. I love the president; I am so grateful to him for taking a chance on me.", reports the Irish Star.

She then emphasized how much she values spending time with her family, something she "lacked" during her two years serving in the White House. Lara then inquired about the West Wing and what truly goes on behind closed doors.
Karoline revealed she "thanked God" daily for her position as she entered the building, sometimes being the first to switch on the lights and "get ahead of the news cycle". She noted there are always staff working as late as 10 or 11 pm, explaining, "you're governing the country".
Meanwhile, Fox News contributor Karoline took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to praise her "dear friend" Stephen Miller on his appointment as Chief of Staff. This follows President Trump's announcement that Susie Wiles, 69, had stepped down from the role.

"No one is more loyal, more hardworking, or more in touch with the America First movement than Stephen. I have complete confidence that he will make the final two years of the President's term a resounding success," she declared on X.
The former press secretary then praised Wiles as "one of the kindest and toughest people I've ever met. She helped power the greatest political comeback in American history in 2024.. She commended Wiles for being ".
She also honored Wiles for being "the first woman to serve as White House Chief of Staff. Leavitt continued, praising how Wiles "led the most productive start to a presidency in decades, even while battling breast cancer. ". "I'm proud to call her my friend and former boss," she added, emphasizing: "Now is the time to fix what's not working and double down on all of the victories we've already achieved. ". "What we cannot do is fall into despair and hand the country over to the Radical Democrats. Let's win," Leavitt concluded.
