Maria Bartiromo's career prospects are reportedly "limited," as an expert claimed her "cosy relationship" with Donald Trump created a "void."
Bartiromo was recently let go by Fox Business after she allegedly shared a private directive with the White House that stated Fox News would not share the 80-year-old president's discredited theories about the 2020 presidential election. The former anchor also reportedly revealed the network's internal text message when questioned about their coverage decisions regarding Trump's statements.
Following Bartiromo's departure, Fox said in a brief press release, "Effective today, Maria Bartiromo is no longer with FOX News Media," and wished her well in her next chapter.

Bartiromo's lawyer has denied claims that she was fired from the network, instead calling the rumors "absolutely and unequivocally false." Despite this, the journalist's name has been removed from Fox Business, and her former program is now airing without her name in the title.
Since her departure, there have also been discussions about what Bartiromo may do next in her career, with one expert exclusively telling The Mirror US that her "options are limited."

"I believe her options are limited. Her cozy relationship with the Trump White House and her tenure at Fox News, where she voiced such strong and sometimes caustic opinions, create a void of opportunity for her," Debra Caruso, president and owner of DjC Communications in New York City, told us.
Caruso also believes that Bartiromo would be unable to return to CNN or NBC, where she started her journalism career, with other major American broadcasters reportedly viewing her as "tainted goods."
"In my opinion, her next move could be Newsmax, Breitbart, or another right-wing operation like Blaze Media," the public relations expert shared. "The combative tone she adopted at Fox will not help her career going forward, either. In other words, she made a series of errors and burned bridges."

Insiders have also speculated that she may be eyeing a role at CBS News's 60 Minutes under Editor-in-Chief Bari Weiss's leadership.
Since her departure was announced, MAGA supporters have vowed to boycott Fox News, taking to social media to show support for the 58-year-old journalist.
One viewer wrote on X, "Wrong. That chair belongs to Maria Bartiromo. Fox can put whoever they want on the desk. America still knows who built that show and who owned Sunday mornings. Bring Maria back."
Another person then added, "I used to watch every Sunday morning. Not today; I went to Newsmax. No more FOX for me." Meanwhile, a third penned, "Sunday mornings just aren't the same without her. Maria belongs on Sunday Morning Futures."
This follows rumors that Maria Bartiromo could become part of the Trump administration, specifically taking over Karoline Leavitt's job as White House Press Secretary.
