Michigan State football pulled the ultimate stunner on Saturday night.
The Spartans' defense held Michigan nearly scoreless and never had to find the endzone to pick up a massive 15-6 victory over their hated rival. Michigan was favored by more than two touchdowns but they couldn't protect their home field, losing a game where their opponent didn't even score a touchdown.
It was a low scoring first half with both teams missing out on opportunities for big plays. Michigan State was the only team to find points, though, with a pair of field goals putting the Spartans up 6-0 at the break.
Michigan State controlled the second half, ultimately only scoring three field goals but that was enough to earn the win.

Michigan State snapped a six-game losing streak and improved to 3-6 overall and 1-5 in Big Ten play. The Spartans beat Michigan for the first time since 2021.
Michigan State will next play Washington on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:15 p.m. ET from Spartan Stadium in East Lansing, Mich.
