Musician Jordan Kahn married Stephanie Ritter on Oct. 6, 2025, at The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch

Instead of reciting traditional vows, Kahn strung together lyrics from 18 songs that told the bride and groom's love story

"I wanted to take our guests on a musical journey through our relationship, from our vows, all the way through to the afterparty," Kahn tells PEOPLE

When Jordan Kahn began planning his Oct. 6, 2025, nuptials to Stephanie Ritter, the musician and co-owner of Jordan Khan Music Company, knew he wanted his vows to be memorable.

"I wanted to take our guests on a musical journey through our relationship, from our vows, all the way through to the afterparty," Kahn tells PEOPLE.

Instead of reciting traditional vows, Kahn strung together lyrics from 18 songs that told his and Ritter's love story, starting with, “We were both young when I first saw you….” and ending with “This I promise you."

Kahn and Ritter tied the knot in a music-filled celebration at The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch, in a ceremony planned by Aimee Monihan of Destination Occasions.

"Steph and I wanted a dance party from beginning to end," says Kahn. The newlyweds were introduced into the reception with a full dance floor, courtesy of the Jordan Kahn Music Company superstar 20-piece orchestra featuring Georgia Bridgwater, Taylor Pace, and other JKMC stars, to Billy Joel’s “Uptown Girl.” The words and energy of Joel's hit "signify the beginning of our relationship in NYC," says Kahn.

The next song was the couple's first dance, a supplement of their vows, and NSYNC’s “This I Promise You.”

"Instead of shortening these special moments, we played the full songs and invited our guests to join us halfway through the song, keeping the guests on the dance floor the entire time," says Kahn.

During the nuptials, a full brass band consisting of 12 horn musicians played during the recessional and led all guests into the cocktail hour. Later, the musicians entertained guests on the dance floor with a limbo contest, where guests bent backwards under the horns.

Kahn knows how to keep guests entertained. As the co-owner of Jordan Kahn Music Company, he has provided entertainment for former presidents and First Families, Dancing With The Stars, The Bachelor and The Real Housewives Franchise television stars' nuptials, plus Mark Cuban, Sean Payton, Draymond Green, Jerry Jones, Kathy Hilton and Derek Hough, among others.

Guests dined on a menu inspired by a collection of the couple's family history and memories, including a dim sum cocktail hour, and matzo ball soup, which was a mix of the couple’s grandmothers’ recipe. Kahn also surprised the bride with her favorite chocolate chip cookies from Aspen.

The dance floor was crowded all evening, and dinner was designed around dance segments so that guests could return to their tables for their next course.

Gro Designs made sure that the decor celebrated the natural surroundings of the Colorado destination. The chuppah was designed to look like an Aspen orchard canopy, and as guests entered the reception, they walked through a hallway of more Aspens.

Tables featured 20-foot-tall trees at the center, complemented by floral arrangements that showcased all the colors of autumn.

During the reception, Khan surprised Ritter with a serenade of Michael Buble’s “I Only Have Eyes for You,” accompanied by a full orchestra that transitioned into a lively dance version, as guests all joined the couple on the dance floor.

To cap off the evening, the 12 horn musicians led guests out of the ballroom with a “second line” taking everyone to the lobby bar for late-night fun where celebrity DJ Greg Garman played for an all-out after party.

As a final surprise, Khan gifted his bride a new family puppy while “Who let the dogs out” played.

"Everything about our day was intentional, especially the music," says Kahn. "We felt like our story got to come to life for our loved ones in the most incredible ways, and we're still reliving every lyric with so much joy. After years of witnessing so many love stories as a musician, having music at the heart of our day made it a dream come to life."
