Niall Horan made a dedicated fan’s night with a simple yet meaningful gesture by modeling a custom-knitted sweater made just for him while on stage during one of his concerts as part of his Dinner Party: Live on Tour shows in Belgium on Thursday, Nov. 5.
In the middle of his set, the “Slow Hands” singer engaged in conversation with the fashion designer fan while taking time for some banter with the crowd at the AFAS Dome in Antwerp. She told him the cardigan took her “58 hours” to make for him, a statistic that baffled the musician’s mind.
“58 hours,” he repeated into the microphone in disbelief, as seen in a TikTok video shared by Sofie Kerremans. “Honestly, I come on stage for 90 minutes every evening and go, ‘Jesus. That’s too much work for me.’ 58 hours? Just give it up for that alone, please.”

Horan, who was standing on the catwalk looking down at the fan in her seat, then told her that he “would love to see” the “very cute” sweater up close. The fan proceeded to toss the cream knitwear up to the former One Direction member, who was genuinely in awe of the gift.
“Is this one of those where I get to keep it or I have to give it back?” he asked, adding, “Since you worked 58 hours on it and you should probably own it after all your hard work.”

“What do you think?” he asked, noting that he was going to try it on first.
The arena erupted with screams as the “Nice to Meet Ya” singer wrapped himself in the cardigan, which had “Dinner Party: Live on Tour” in red stitched onto the back with his name written on the sleeves. He then strode up and down the stage in the sweater, which appeared to fit like a glove.

“Christmas started. It’s my Christmas jumper!” he said. “Wow, what a talent you are. This is amazing. Fifty-eight hours of work, how beautiful. How beautiful!”
“I’m not going to lie, it’s about 75 degrees up here, and I’m going to have to take it off for now,” he told her. “But I want to keep it, of course!”
Before continuing on with his set wearing his new gift, Horan snapped a selfie with the fan, per her request. “Yes, we can take a selfie!” he excitedly replied.
Horan’s Dinner Party: Live on Tour kicked off on Sept. 22 at the Utilita Arena Birmingham in Birmingham, England. The tour is scheduled to wrap on May 29, 2027, with a final concert at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada.

So much of this tour has been an interactive experience between the Irish singer-songwriter and his fans. Before the stretch of shows kicked off, he tapped his followers to help him build the setlist with a request on social media.
“Lovers! I’m almost done with the tour set list but it’s gotten so much tougher,” wrote Horan in an Instagram Stories post. “So I need your help.”
The “Heaven” musician shared a link to a website where fans could choose songs from any of Horan’s four albums — 2017’s Flicker, 2020’s Heartbreak Weather, 2023’s The Show and 2026’s Dinner Party — for him to perform.
One Direction songs were not up for consideration, but Horan has performed the band’s 2014 hit “Steal My Girl” live a couple of times this year.
