Princess Diana perished in a car crash inside the Pont de l'Alma tunnel in Paris, as her driver fled a relentless pack of paparazzi. Her companion at the time, Dodi Fayed, and their driver, Henri Paul, also lost their lives in the collision, reports the Express US.

Diana, then 20 years old, married the 32-year-old Charles on July 29, 1981.
