Oscar nominee Sharon Stone got the ultimate revenge on stage at a recent awards show, where she accepted a career achievement award and subsequently called out a rude group of people who didn't recognize her in the room.
In a video shared online from the Jan. 9 Astra Awards ceremony, the 67-year-old Basic Instinct actress began her speech by blasting fellow attendees who were seated alongside her at a table inside the Sofitel Beverly Hills Hotel venue.
"And to the kids at my table who wondered, 'Who the f--- took that chair?' Now you know," Stone said at the top of her speech, before telling the audience, "Yeah, someone came over and said, 'Who are you and why are you sitting here?'"
The crowd gasped in the room as Stone continued, "As she said, 'F--- you!'"

The Casino star went on to urge her tablemates to channel their status as public figures into doing good work for the world.
"More importantly, and more to the point, I’d like to say welcome to you. And I’d like to say, this is an opportunity. Because I started my activism work when my fame kicked in. And I’d like to give you an opportunity to start your activism work now that your consciousness has kicked in," Stone said. "Because fame without awareness, success without purpose, is pointless."
She then moved on to talk about the tenacity she displayed as a young actress chasing after roles she felt were meant for her.
Stone told the crowd that she "wasn't the first person they offered Basic Instinct to" in 1992, but that she "was the person who got a manager to bring her to the office and get her the script, and I was the person who was prepared, because I had the script for eight months, and I was the person who had a manager to call every single f---ing day, because I wanted that part."
The actress urged that "when you want something, as an artist, you should go and get it, because you know what’s meant for you, and you know where you can fit and where you can make a change with your art."

She covered other topics throughout the nearly 10-minute speech, but brought the conclusion around to the people who dismissed her earlier in the evening.
Stone told the audience to "carry home someone you're proud of, and you, too, will be timeless, whether the people at your table know who you are or not," before finishing her remarks by stating, "Here's what I'm going to tell you: You know who I am now."
