Shilo Sanders Drops 3-Word Reaction to Jason Whitlock’s Prediction for Shedeur Sanders, Deion Sanders’ Big Weekend

Polarizing analyst Jason Whitlock has consistently criticized the Sanders family, especially Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders and his son, Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders. But this week, it’s different.

In a short rant shared on social media, Whitlock surprisingly picked both Shedeur and Deion to win this weekend. Shilo Sanders liked the change of pace enough to give him a three-word response.

Shilo Sanders Gives Jason Whitlock a Rare Nod

Whitlock’s picks were about as friendly as it gets. He opened by saying he was prepared to be disappointed, then explained why he expected to spend the following week hearing more about both men.

ā€œI’m prepared to be disappointed because my gut tells me Deion’s going to win,ā€Whitlock said.

He added that his gut told him Shedeur would win, too. ā€œWe’re gonna continue with the charade that Shedeur Sanders is some sort of franchise quarterback who was screwed over and ruined,ā€ he added.

Whitlock admitted he wanted to see both Deion and Shedeur lose, but thought that was too good to be true.

ā€œIt’s too good to be true that Deion and Shedeur could crash and burn on the same weekend. So, I’m preparing myself that it’s not going to happen, and we’re going to be flooded with Deion and Shedeur talk all of next week,ā€ Whitlock said.

Shilo, however, seemed to appreciate the prediction.

ā€œRare Whitlock W,ā€ he commented under Whitlock’s IG post.

Whitlock will likely enjoy the fact that Deion’s Colorado team has already lost its Week 10 matchup.

The Buffaloes entered Saturday’s game against Arizona State at 3-5 after snapping a five-game losing streak with a 27-24 overtime win over Kansas State. They had a chance to build on their first Big 12 win of the season, but instead fell 20-10 in Tempe and dropped to 3-6.

Shedeur, meanwhile, is hours away from his first start of the season against the New Orleans Saints after Deshaun Watson entered concussion protocol.

Sanders had already taken first-team reps during the week, and Todd Monken said he liked how the quarterback handled the huddle and got his teammates to the line.

Earlier in the week, Sanders redirected a question about hiring an agent by asking what it had to do with the game. Now he has a chance to let his play do the talking.

Shedeur has appeared twice in relief this season, completing three passes for two yards, but Sunday will be his first start since Week 18 last season.
