Steph Curry’s wife, Ayesha Curry, raised eyebrows after her latest movie, “Second Chance Holiday,” was released on Thursday, November 5. In one scene, Ayesha shared a kiss with fellow actor Matthew Daddario, and the NBA world reacted in diverse ways. Former NFL player-turned-analyst LeSean McCoy shared his reaction on social media, and Suns announcer and former player Eddie A. Johnson responded.
McCoy believed it was not good for Ayesha to share an on-screen kiss with an actor while she was happily married to the 4-time NBA champion. He said:
“Bruh, this is crazy. You got the greatest player of all time as your husband.”
Johnson shared a response to McCoy on X:
“Got you ! Just go sit in the stands and be a trophy! I applaud women who chase their dreams to be cheered in their household. Instead of being cheered for household duties 💯💯! Steph understands!”
Steph and Ayesha Curry have been in a long-term relationship and got married in 2011. The couple also share four children: two sons and two daughters. Despite criticism of her kissing scene in the movie, the two have been going strong.

WNBA analyst shared her feelings on the Ayesha Curry controversy
WNBA analyst Jemele Hill shared her thoughts on the entire controversy with Ayesha Curry and her kissing scene with the actor. She also responded to LeSean McCoy’s comments on X, resharing his clip, and wrote:
“1) Ayesha Curry wanted to be an actress prior to being married to Steph. She was in commercials as a kid, did an episode of Hannah Montana and appeared in other things as a child actress. 2) Hailee Steinfeld is Josh Allen’s wife. She has a pretty graphic sex scene with Michael B. Jordan in Sinners and I heard not one peep or any pearl clutching (not that there should have been).”
Ayesha and Steph Curry are navigating the controversy as the Warriors enjoy a winning run in the regular season. The team will next play the Orlando Magic on Saturday.
