A TikTok posted by Taylor Frankie Paul in August is resurfacing as it seemingly alludes to the shocking 2023 fight between her and ex Dakota Mortensen that TMZ released a video of on March 19.
The TikTok, which was posted on Aug. 23, 2025 — seven months before TMZ posted the 2023 fight video — features Paul, sitting in her car as she lip syncs to Rihanna's song "Breaking Dishes."
"Is he cheating? Man, I don't know. I'm lookin' 'round for somethin' else to throw. I'm breakin' dishes up in here, all night. I ain't gon' stop until I see police lights," Paul, who is one of the stars of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and the original founder of MomTok, mouthed.
In white text over the video, Paul also added, "Tip: don't throw things, you just might see police lights."
"Don't do it," she wrote in the caption.
The TikTok has since been resurfaced, following the release of an explosive video showing Paul and Mortensen fighting. In the video, Paul can be seen hitting Mortensen as he films her.
"This is called physical abuse,” he says while filming. At one point, she can be seen throwing chairs at him with her daughter, Indy, now 8, present in the room. The child can be heard crying as Mortensen and Paul continued fighting. At one point, Mortensen exclaims, “Your daughter just got hit in the head by a metal chair.”
Paul was previously arrested for alleged domestic violence in 2023 following an argument with Mortensen, with whom she shares 2-year-old son, Ever. She pled guilty in abeyance to aggravated assault, which means that if she complies with the conditions of the plea, that charge will be dismissed. Meanwhile, the other charges have already been dismissed.
The 2023 indictment obtained by PEOPLE alleged that Paul threw “heavy, metal chairs” at Mortensen and Paul's daughter was struck by a chair during the incident, which matches what occurs in the video.

The indictment also included information from an officer for the Herriman Police Department who responded to a domestic violence incident allegedly reported by Mortensen, who claimed he was in an argument with Paul.
"[Mortensen] reported feeling scared for his life. [Mortensen] was observed with redness and swelling around his eyes, swelling on his elbow, scratches on his fingers, and a laceration on his neck," the indictment alleged.

Upon arrival at the residence, the responding officer reported observing Paul "strike" Mortensen. Paul also admitted to throwing the metal chairs and wooden play set, per the indictment. A second child was also allegedly in the residence at the time of the incident.
Following the release of the video, a spokesperson for Paul told PEOPLE, “It’s sad to see the latest installment of his never-ending, desperate, attention-seeking, destructive campaign to harm Taylor without any regard for the consequences for their child. Releasing an old video, which conveniently omits context, on their son's birthday is a reprehensible attempt to distract from his own behavior. Thankfully, the public has seen this act before and knows who he is and sadly, many will recognize this pattern of manipulation, both in his actions on the show, and from their own experiences."
Following the release of the video, ABC announced that it had cancelled the premiere of Paul's season of The Bachelorette, which was set to premiere on Sunday, March 22. "In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of 'The Bachelorette' at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family," a Disney Entertainment Television spokesperson said.
In the hours following the video's release, Mortensen also filed a protective order against Paul.
The Bachelorette's cancellation comes after multiple sources confirmed to PEOPLE on Monday, March 16, that The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives halted filming for season 5. One insider cited "some pretty serious stuff happening" regarding Paul's past.
"They will see what happens," the source added. "Until that resolves, they are off."

A spokesperson for the Draper City Police Department also confirmed Monday that there is an open "domestic assault investigation" regarding Paul and Mortensen. The spokesperson confirmed "allegations have been made in both directions" and "contact was made with involved parties on [Feb] 24th and 25th." The spokesperson declined to share more amid the ongoing investigation.
TMZ was first to report the halt in filming. Reps for Paul, Mortensen and Hulu did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.
Paul broke her silence following the news of the investigation at a press preview of her dating show stint on March 17.
"Honestly, just like, my heart hurts to see it, to go through it, especially at this time," she told PEOPLE exclusively. "Just the timing is hard, and it's a big deal. I feel like every premiere that I've experienced, I've never enjoyed fully, so this is another one... It's extremely hard, and it took everything to get me here today."
