According to the production’s Instagram announcement, Hatcher will begin her run on Oct. 20. Her stint is currently set to continue until Feb. 6, 2027, with Debbie Kurup filling the role in the meantime. Speaking to Hello! magazine, Hatcher said, ā€œI’ve experienced and grown so much, and I get to bring all of that into my Devil Wears Prada performance. I feel like this is a gift for me, to arrive into a Teri Hatcher that I haven’t got to be yet, and I’m so excited for it.ā€

Although Teri has not yet seen the London production, her daughter Emerson, 28, has attended a performance at the Dominion Theatre. In fact, Emerson helped convince her mother to accept the role. She said that her daughter ā€œsaw Vanessa in it and said it was great, so when the opportunity came my way, she was the first person to say: ā€˜Oh my god, you have to do it, you’re going to have so much fun.'ā€
