Tom Brady shared a cryptic message on social media amid reports of tension between Victoria’s Secret models Candice Swanepoel and Joan Smalls over their alleged romantic connections to the former NFL quarterback.
“You are not responsible for correcting every false version of you that exists in someone else’s head,” the message read.
Brady, 49, posted the quote to his Instagram Story on Thursday, November 5, adding three heart emojis. The post came after reports surfaced about his relationship with Swanepoel, 38, and her alleged fallout with Smalls, 38.

Brady and Swanepoel had been dating “for a while.”
According to an insider, the retired athlete and the model began seeing each other in the spring.
Neither Brady nor Swanepoel has publicly confirmed their reported romance.

Soon after dating rumors started, a source said that Brady and Smalls used to date casually.
The insider claimed the two “were seeing each other on and off for about a year between 2023 and 2024.”
“They were hooking up for a while and still kept in touch afterward,” the source added.
However, reports of Brady growing closer to Swanepoel allegedly upset Smalls, who considered the fellow model a close friend.

“To her, it was just the ultimate breaking of girl code,” another source said. “It wasn’t even necessarily about Tom, but more about the fact that Candice was someone she considered such a close friend. Joan had openly talked to Candice about Tom and had confided in Candice about the relationship.”

Rumors of tension between the models intensified after they both appeared at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on October 15.

Joan Smalls’ Deleted ‘Summer House’ Comment Sparks More Speculation
Smalls also appeared to reference the reported drama in a since-deleted comment on a Just Jared Instagram post about the dating news.
“Two words: SUMMER HOUSE ! That’ll explain everything,” she wrote.
Fans speculated that the comment referred to the widely discussed love triangle involving Amanda Batula, West Wilson and Ciara Miller from Bravo’s Summer House.
Smalls didn’t explain further, and it’s unknown if Brady’s post was about the rumors.
