Entering Episode 28 of BB28's Week 8 live eviction, Rick Devens, LaTrice "Lala" Verrett and Taylor Brown were on the block. Devens earned safety in BB Blockbuster before houseguests cast their live eviction votes. Lala was ultimately evicted in a 4-2 vote.
The eviction followed one the most dramatic weeks on "Big Brother" 28. Drew Campbell won HOH, Yash Patel won the Power of Veto and Rick Devens volunteered to serve as the replacement nominee after Yash removed himself from the block.

The competition, called "Your Game in Ruins," required nominees to race through a quarry-themed course, retrieve spheres one at a time and deposit them into a tube at the end of their lane.
The first player to place four spheres into the tube automatically won. Devens ultimately secured the final sphere and guaranteed his safety.
The victory removed Devens from the block and left Taylor Brown and LaTrice "Lala" Verrett facing eviction.
