Big Brother spoilers ahead: LaTrice "Lala" Verrett was evicted from the "Big Brother" house during Thursday night's live episode of "Big Brother" after Rick Devens won BB Blockbuster and came off the block.
The result answered two of the night's biggest questions: Who went home on "Big Brother" tonight and who won BB Blockbuster?
Entering Episode 28 of BB28's Week 8 live eviction, Rick Devens, LaTrice "Lala" Verrett and Taylor Brown were on the block. Devens earned safety in BB Blockbuster before houseguests cast their live eviction votes. Lala was ultimately evicted in a 4-2 vote.
The eviction followed one the most dramatic weeks on "Big Brother" 28. Drew Campbell won HOH, Yash Patel won the Power of Veto and Rick Devens volunteered to serve as the replacement nominee after Yash removed himself from the block.
What initially appeared headed toward a straightforward Lala eviction became considerably more complicated after live-feed conversations increasingly shifted toward Rick Devens and later Taylor Brown.
The eviction also marked the start of jury, with Lala becoming the first member of the BB28 jury. The next HOH competition takes place later tonight, with the winner likely revealed when the live feeds return.
Who went home on 'Big Brother' tonight?
LaTrice Verrett was evicted from the "Big Brother" house during the Sept. 3 live episode. The eviction came after Rick Devens won BB Blockbuster and secured safety ahead of the live vote.

Who won BB Blockbuster tonight?
Rick Devens won BB Blockbuster on Thursday night's episode of "Big Brother" 28, securing safety and coming off the block ahead of the live vote.
The competition, called "Your Game in Ruins," required nominees to race through a quarry-themed course, retrieve spheres one at a time and deposit them into a tube at the end of their lane.
The first player to place four spheres into the tube automatically won. Devens ultimately secured the final sphere and guaranteed his safety.
The victory removed Devens from the block and left Taylor Brown and LaTrice "Lala" Verrett facing eviction.

Who was evicted on 'Big Brother' Week 8?
LaTrice "Lala" Verrett was evicted from "Big Brother" tonight, becoming the ninth houseguest voted off "Big Brother" and the first member of the BB28 jury.
The 58-year-old Maplewood, New Jersey, native entered the season as one of three New Jersey contestants and spent much of Week 8 as the presumed target before surviving a series of shifting alliance discussions centered on Rick Devens and Taylor Brown.
The house voted 4-2 to send Lala home.

Big Brother spoilers: What happened tonight?
Thursday's "Big Brother" Episode 28 featured the BB Blockbuster competition, the Week 8 eviction vote, the departure of LaTrice "Lala" Verrett from the house, and the start of jury.
Rick Devens, LaTrice "Lala" Verrett and Taylor Brown entered the night on the block. Earlier this week, Yash Patel used the Power of Veto on himself and Drew Campbell named Devens the replacement nominee after Devens volunteered for the position.
Rick Devens secured safety by winning BB Blockbuster, leaving LaTrice "Lala" Verrett and Taylor Brown on the block heading into the live vote.
The outcome was significant because live-feed conversations throughout the week increasingly centered on whether houseguests would target Devens or continue with the original plan to evict Lala.
