The revelation comes after Netflix canceled its partnership with her lifestyle brand, As Ever, earlier this month. Previously, the streaming platform had also canceled the third season of “With Love, Meghan.” While sources allege that Markle’s way of giving feedback was “odd”, her lawyer has dismissed these claims as “blatantly false.”

As per a report by Variety, Meghan Markle used to “disappear” during Netflix meetings on Zoom. The revelation comes after Netflix cut ties with the duchess’s lifestyle brand, As Ever. Moreover, the streaming platform also canceled the third season of the reality TV show, “With Love, Meghan,” reportedly due to low ratings.

However, sources alleged that Markle was actually “relieved” when Netflix ended its partnership with her brand, as she believed it was being “held back” by the platform. Days later, another report suggested that Netflix was “not happy” with As Ever and felt the business “didn’t fit.”

Amid this, three sources claimed that the way the duchess provided feedback was “odd.” According to them, she would “disappear” during meetings, and later it would be explained to Netflix teams that she stepped away because she felt offended by something that was said.

However, Markle’s lawyer, Michael J. Kump, dismissed these claims in a letter to the outlet. He stated that the “Suits” alum works from home and balances both professional and personal responsibilities. Since she works from home, her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, sometimes enter the room unannounced during meetings.

Because of this, she may turn off the camera, mute her mic, or briefly pause the meeting to avoid distractions. He wrote, “Independent of being a parent who works from home, Meghan is also conscious of shielding her team from the distraction of children.” All in all, his clarification presents a more practical explanation for her actions during meetings.
