Dedicated Wimbledon enthusiasts have been following the on-court action closely, with the final matches scheduled for this weekend, but one particular element of the broadcast has drawn their ire.
The 2026 Championships have been underway since June 29 and will conclude this Sunday, with the BBC providing primary coverage.
Alongside the regular lineup of analysts like Tim Henman and Annabel Croft, eight-time grand slam champion Andre Agassi and former Wimbledon runner-up Eugenie Bouchard have taken on commentary duties. This is not the first time viewers have complained about the BBC's Wimbledon coverage this season.

Clare Balding and Isa Guha have been hosting live broadcasts throughout the two-week tournament, but their contributions have frustrated viewers and radio listeners.
One viewer posted on Reddit asking: "Is there a way to watch Wimbledon without commentary, but keep the crowd and other sounds? Fed up with the wittering rambling nonsense from the commentators on BBC."

Another concurred: "I tried listening to it on the radio this afternoon (I was at work so couldn't watch) and it was awful - they are so busy chattering on that they don't keep you up with the score.
"So frustrating as you can hear the crowd cheering in the background and they don't tell you what's happening! Which feels like surely it should be the whole point of radio coverage? !"
A third fan complained: "The BBC commentators are atrocious, I was wondering this too."

While a fourth expressed: "Wish I had a solution, also finding it unbearable."
One viewer was less than impressed with the latest broadcasting additions, commenting: "I wish... Agassi and Castle is a terrible combination, they're always wittering on!".
However, others appreciated the expert analysis, with one user posting on X: "The insight is incredible. The detail and the knowledge, a huge eye opener to fair weather watchers like me."
Another wrote: "@AndreAgassi throwing out pearls everywhere on the BBC #wimbledon coverage. Worth the license fee by itself."
This isn't the first occasion the BBC has faced criticism over its commentary. Familiar face Andrew Castle was called out live on air for his remarks about Shintaro Mochizuki during his final Wimbledon appearance.
The broadcaster also faced backlash for what some viewers interpreted as "biased" coverage during Karolína Muchová and Coco Gauff's match, with one viewer writing: "#BBC #Wimbledon The commentating for the woman's semi-final was shocking. Totally unprofessional and biased towards Coco Gauff. (Claire Balding can do no wrong however)."
