Brie Bella has revealed that she will no longer share photos of her children on social media after an unsettling incident involving her son Buddy.
The WWE Hall of Famer explained that she recently uploaded Halloween photos featuring her family before deleting the post after an account began targeting her youngest child with disturbing comments and images.
Speaking on a recent episode of The Nikki & Brie Show, Bella revealed that the account appeared suspicious, with no followers, no following, and no profile picture. She believed the account was operated by a bot.
The incident prompted Bella to reconsider sharing her childrenās lives online, particularly after realizing that younger social media users could potentially face similar harassment.
Brie Bella Explains Why She Will No Longer Post Photos of Her Children
Brie explained that the account repeatedly posted comments and images making fun of Buddy, prompting her to remove the Halloween photos.
āIt probably had 20 comments and images making fun of Buddy going after him,ā she recalled. āSo I deleted the post, and then that led me to all this bulls*it, youāre not going to see my kids anymore. Iām not going to post them anymore.ā
The former WWE Divas Champion said the experience made her think about children who use Instagram and other social media platforms, particularly those in middle school.
āWhat it showed me, and I really hope parents who, if youāre listening and you allow your child to have social media, donāt feel bad about it. A lot of people do,ā Brie explained. āI think you should take comments off.ā
Brie expressed concern about the potential consequences of online harassment, particularly for younger children who may struggle to cope with targeted abuse.

āWhat I realized when I posted Buddy, I go, something targeted the youngest person in the photos,ā Brie said. āNow, what I think is when young kids are posting, right, these middle schoolers and stuff, there could be bots going after them, itās not real people.ā

She added that the comments could have been devastating for Buddy if he were old enough to understand them.
āNobody saw those. That would have been devastating for him,ā Brie explained. āAnd now Buddyās six, he would have probably told you to f*ck off.ā
Brie also reflected on how the situation could affect her daughter Birdie, who is approaching her teenage years.
āI was thinking if it was Birdie who had Instagram, I was thinking about a 12-year-old or like a 14-year-old or even a 15-year-old dealing with this,ā Brie said.
The WWE personality acknowledged that parents have different approaches to allowing their children access to social media, but urged them to consider disabling comments.
āIām not going to fight you on that. I might debate you on why I think itās wrong, but if you do, thatās fine,ā Brie said. āBut I think you should have no comments.ā
