Yang earns South Korea World Cup call-up

Celtic winger Yang Hyun-jun has been selected to represent South Korea in the World Cup this summer.

Since making his senior debut in 2023, Yang has played eight time for the national side. He featured in just three of the World Cup qualifying matches for a total of 42 minutes.

South Korea start their campaign against the Czech Republic on 12 June and then face co-hosts Mexico on 19 June, with both games in Guadalajara, before finishing their Group A schedule against South Africa on 25 June in Monterrey.
